It's Time to Rise Up
Abide Class Six Psalm 91 - 21
Spiritual warfare is real, but are you using the most powerful weapon available to you? In this soul-stirring episode, Kim McIntire and her guests explore the extraordinary power of Psalm 91 as a spiritual weapon against the enemy's attacks.
The conversation begins with a revolutionary perspective—physically holding up your Bible like a sword while declaring God's truth aloud. It might seem unusual, but this tangible action mirrors the spiritual reality of warfare. As Kim explains, "What we do in the physical is mirrored in the spiritual and the enemy can see us."
Discover the four powerful names of God revealed in the first two verses of Psalm 91: Most High (showing God is greater than any threat), Almighty (representing His power), Lord (representing His authority), and "my God" (highlighting the personal relationship). These names establish the foundation for the chapter's promises of protection and victory.
The most striking revelation comes from verse 13: "You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent." This isn't mere poetry—it's a declaration of the authority Christians possess through Christ. "You are not a victim," Kim emphasizes. "You are a victor because of Jesus Christ."
You will be moved by powerful testimonies of breakthrough: a marriage under attack restored through daily declarations of Psalm 91, crippling anxiety completely broken through this spiritual practice. These stories aren't anomalies but demonstrations of what happens when believers wield God's Word as the offensive weapon it's meant to be.
The conversation culminates with "the power of the share"—how sharing testimonies multiplies God's work. If you're facing battles in your family, marriage, health, or mind, this episode equips you with biblical strategies to experience victory through the authority Christ has already given you. Download now and transform how you approach spiritual warfare forever.

Kim McIntire:Today's episode is an abide class from Psalm 91. I'm so excited about diving into Psalm 91 with you three ladies, so welcome back Charity Degonia, Olivia Frazier and Laila Davis. Laila is in our Abide Leadership class and I think this is the first time you've done the podcast class with us, so we're excited to have you here. So, if you are listening and you're able, please grab your Bible and a notebook, a pen, take some good notes, if you're able and open up to Psalm 91. And that's where we're going to begin, but first I'm going to just lead us in prayer.
Kim McIntire:Father, God, we are so grateful for the opportunity to open your word today and, God, we ask you to prepare the hearts of every listener to receive encouragement and strength, God, from your word. We know your word is living and active. It is powerful. It is a weapon you say, it's a sword, God. So today, Lord, we just pray there would be an anointing over every word that is spoken and that your name would be honored and glorified as we open your word and we share our hearts. God, we love you, Lord, and we ask you to lead every part of this discussion. We need you, Holy Spirit, and we invite you in in Jesus' holy, holy, holy name. Amen. Olivia, I believe you're going to open us up by reading Psalm 91 aloud. Okay, what version?
Olivia Frazier:are you in? I'm in the CSB version. Okay, awesome, okay. Psalm 91.
Olivia Frazier:The one who lives under the protection of the Most High dwells in the shadow of the Almighty, I will say, concerning the Lord, who is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. He himself will rescue you from the bird trap, from the destructive plague. He will cover you with his feathers. You will take refuge under his wings. His faithfulness will be a protective shield. You will not fear the terror of the night, the arrow that flies by day, the plague that stalks in darkness or the pestilence that ravages at noon. Though a thousand fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, the pestilence will not reach you. You will only see it with your eyes and witness the punishment of the wicked.
Olivia Frazier:Because you have made the Lord, my refuge, the Most High, your dwelling place, no harm will come to you, no plague will come near your tent, for he will give his angels orders concerning you to protect you in all your ways. They will support you with their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread on the foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the cobra. You will trample the young lion and the serpent, because he has his heart set on me. I will deliver him. I will protect him because he knows my name. When he calls out to me, I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble, I will rescue him and give him honor.
Kim McIntire:I will satisfy him with a long life and show him my salvation. Amen. Psalm 91 is my go-to chapter for spiritual warfare and this is something I share in the Abide class. We who follow Jesus have seasons of life where we come under attack from the enemy. Right ladies, yes, and there are so many things we can do to combat the enemy. We can praise we know praise is a weapon. We can speak the name of Jesus we know that's powerful. We can get on our knees and pray and we can take God's word and use it like a sword.
Kim McIntire:And I just want to mention this to listeners If you haven't ever taken God's word and I'm talking about the literal, like brick and mortar Bible that you hold If you've never just taken God's word and held it up like a sword in front of you while you're just proclaiming truth, you really should practice that, because what we do in the physical is mirrored in the spiritual and the enemy can see us. He watches us closely, actually, and I don't believe there's a devil behind every bush. I think you can get like overly, you know, a little bit over the top with that, but the Bible says there is an enemy. He seeks to kill still and destroy the people of God. And when the the enemy's coming against your marriage, your children, your family, your ministry, your finances, your health, you best be getting the word of God and use it like the sword that it is. And so Psalm 91 is one of our weapons of warfare.
Kim McIntire:And I want to just start with talking about the four names of God in the first two verses. The four names of God in the first two verses the first name of God is Most High, and that shows him to be greater than any threat of the enemy. He's higher than any force. The second name he says he gives himself is Almighty, and this represents his power. He has the strength to defeat the enemy and his schemes. The third name is Lord, which represents his authority in our lives, because if he's our Lord, that means he rules over what we do and say and where we go, how we think. And the fourth is my God, which shows the personal aspect of our relationship to him. I am his and he is mine. Personal aspect of our relationship to him. I am his and he is mine. So when I look at that psalm, I'm just immediately drawn in by the Lord is defining who he is to me and it's my. It's my job to take hold of that and believe it.
Kim McIntire:So this is the God who fights for us, you guys. This is the God who fights for us.
Charity DeGonia:Other thoughts when you introduced this to me or to our class the first time, it felt a little bit strange. Whenever we use a new tool to fight the enemy and to walk our relationship with, I think it takes a little bit of a boldness to walk forward, and so when I started teaching this in our class, they were a little bit hesitant too, but by the time we got to the end of it, it was the joy and the excitement of like I've got a new tool that I can grasp, the power of the Holy Spirit, of the power that God has given us, because sometimes it's hard to like get that concept that I can actually God has given me the same power through the Holy Spirit to fight these battles, and so that's where it was really powerful, where you said use it and you introduced that to the listeners. So I wanted to expand on that a little bit, where we practiced this, praying it over somebody and inserting their names at points that you know you come to, and that's where the power came. For me, the first time was this is not I love what you're talking about the names. Like after he does the names he goes into, he will rescue you.
Charity DeGonia:Right, that's right, the promises that come from three, all the way to the end, just promise after promise after promise that we can take a hold of, and he doesn't want us just to go. Oh, there's a promise. He wants us to hold them, hold them close and believe them and to walk in them. That's right, and so I think that this chapter is really powerful. We went through something in our family where the prayers were not working, the worship music was not working, there was a spirit of torment in our home that we didn't know how to fight until we introduced this and the power of just. Sometimes it would just be a whisper of knowing that God's word had to be spoken in that time. It breaks chains, it does.
Kim McIntire:And Jesus set the example in the wilderness when he was fasting for 40 days and 40 nights and the enemy was coming to torment him, and the weapon that Jesus used was the word of God. And so the Lord Jesus set that example for us that you know, praise is a weapon, prayer is a weapon, but the most powerful weapon of all, I believe, because of Jesus and his example, is we speak the word. We don't just read the word, we speak it out loud. I can't tell you how regularly I will just quote Bible scriptures over my husband, children, family, friends, circles, just because I know the power that it holds and His Word doesn't fail. It just doesn't fail, it can't fail. It's impossible for God's Word to fail. So anyway, let's just dive in, let's just go verse to verse. He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
Charity DeGonia:I'm going to jump in here one more time. This I thought it's so simple, but not. I mean, it's describing who he is, but it also says when we're abiding in Shaddai, we are hidden in the strength of God. That's another version that I looked up and I was like that's so powerful. I love all the things that we do with abide, but I feel like so much already. It's saying you have to abide in me, we have to have a relationship with him for him to come and rescue me, and then not only is it rescuing us, but he's hiding us in his strength. It's like we don't have to have the strength on our own. It's his that we rest on.
Laila Davis:It's true, I really like that, the first verse, right off the bat, because it talks about um resting in the shadow of the almighty and if you know anything about israel, in the middle east, it's hot, yeah and it is a reminder that god isn't just there to protect you, he's there to give you comfort. It's true, you know and sometimes, when you're fighting that battle, you need that comfort, that break from the sun resting in the shadow of the Almighty. I love that.
Kim McIntire:That's beautiful, I will say of the Lord. He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust. So the psalmist is using his mouth right to declare who God is. There's a lot of strength in that. A lot of declarations, oh my goodness.
Charity DeGonia:So you know, when we're going through all the words and we get to declare and I'm like the whole chapter is a declare, it is, it is, and so that's when you know, when people are struggling with, you know, finding a declare, I'm like actually it's right there, you know, and you just change it to it. But again, another version is this declaration he is the hope that holds me, like sometimes we just need hope to hold us.
Kim McIntire:That's true. Does anyone see any? Anything specific like that, they would say, would draw a confession from their heart? I was just when I was reading this. I was like Lord, forgive me and change me, because sometimes I'm reacting like I don't know this psalm is true Like reacting to situations or circumstances, you know, and so my confession is Lord, remind me, like, forgive me that I forget sometimes, and remind me, and he has been so faithful to do that. So fewer and farther between are the times that I'm reacting to a circumstance with fear and worry and, more often, reacting to a circumstance with faith and hope and confidence that my God battles for me. You know he really does.
Charity DeGonia:Right, and you mentioned that word fear. I think that was definitely my confession. Almost every single time that I go through this like confess that my time has been not my time, my attitude toward the problems has been fear, anxiety and insecurity. Yeah, lord, I'm sorry that I've been insecure because I know where to go, but our sinfulness, our flesh, is so easily taken over into fear and anxiety. It's true Something you know what keeps us from going directly to his throne the first time that I went through this? But the more you do it, the more it's like oh, I have a reminder, I've got Psalm 91 almost memorized, you know like because we've done it so well, and then it's a second nature.
Charity DeGonia:You know, it's just, it's almost that abide of its second nature. Once you get into it, you would never want to miss that time with him because you know how required it is. Well, it's the same thing with spiritual warfare it becomes second nature when you do it. But we have to confess like, hey, that wasn't second nature. It isn't second nature for it, it needs to be.
Olivia Frazier:Yeah for sure. Yeah, mine goes along with both of yours, like the fear and the anxiety I just, the Lord, put into my head. You take control of the situation away from me and you run it through your head, however many times, and you run the narrative. Basically, you run the narrative, not me, because that's not actually happening. That's convicting. Because that's not actually happening. That's convicting. So my confess was Lord, I'm sorry that I take the control away from you and I put it on myself. Forgive me, help me to put it back into your hands.
Kim McIntire:Amen. What a good word, that's beautiful and that just ties in with obedience as well.
Charity DeGonia:Yeah, right, yeah, I love that On my obey. I turned it into almost at my obey and declare went together because it says, when I'm feeling shaken, you are the answer. I will pause, I will give you the praise and then I will proceed. So just stopping where I'm at and sometimes it's 15 seconds, sometimes it's 15 minutes, you know just to refocus our brain on okay, lord, this is yours, that's right, but I liked that was like one of the first times that God said hey, you can obey and declare at the same time.
Kim McIntire:Yeah, that's right, absolutely. And there's so much to give thanks and praise God for throughout this entire chapter as well, let's all just choose something to thank God and praise him for through this chapter.
Charity DeGonia:Verse four his faithfulness is a protective shield. It keeps you from harm, and I will not fear the terror of the night and I just put God. I thank you that I don't have to have it all together to be held by you. Thank you that you are the strength that gives me, that you give me the strength when I have none, Because there are days we have none, right After these battles, it's true. And thank you for the peace that you give me in the midst of these battles because you are near Amen. That you give me in the midst of these battles because you are near.
Olivia Frazier:Amen. A thanks that I have. It goes along with three he himself it was that, like those words, he himself it's not. He's passing along the responsibility of taking care of you to someone else. He himself will rescue you from the bird trap. So a thanks that I had was thank you, lord, for personally rescuing me when I've needed you. Every time you come to my rescue and help me, and thank you for the countless testimonies that I have of you saving me. It just shows how personal he is with each one of us and it just it kills me. It's unbelievable.
Kim McIntire:Mine is verse 11, for he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways, and 12 they will lift you up in their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone, and I was just like father. Thank you that you command angels to guard me. I, I'm surrounded by angels. I believe that, and that doesn't mean that there's never anything bad going to happen. Bad things happen to good people. The word says it rains on the righteous and the unrighteous, but what it means is, in those storms and in those trials, we are still guarded by angels. We're not susceptible to things that other people are, because we're being guarded even in the storm, and I just I praise God and I thank God that he offers protection, he commands his angels and ultimately, he's my protector. So I just praise and thank him for that. Layla, does anything stand out to you?
Laila Davis:Absolutely it does. Verse 15, I'm reading from the NIV version and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. As you know, I did not grow up Christian. I have lived outside of that protection, and for me to have a God that says he's with me in trouble and he delivers me and honor me. No one in my life before has ever delivered me from trouble. But God does so good. Thank you. But God does so good, that is so good.
Kim McIntire:Thank you, Lord.
Charity DeGonia:That is so good.
Kim McIntire:Thank you, lord, I love that.
Charity DeGonia:That next verse right after that says I will satisfy him with a long life. And there's another version that says I will reward him with a long life. So you know, it's that running the race and what we get to at the end.
Charity DeGonia:You know, I just love that. You know our humanness, we want a reward, but ultimately we don't need anything else when we're satisfied by him. It's true, you know, that's that God shaped hole that we talk about sometimes and it's like that's all we need. That's the reward that ultimately satisfies and ends. It's all of everything we've been searching for. But just above that, in 14, it starts with different versions, but this starts with the Lord says right. So it kind of swapped between 13 and 14. And in 14, it's what God says. God says because his heart is set on me, can you imagine that God loves us this much? I mean, we mess up all the I sorry, I mess up all the time and I'm like and I know I'm just trying not to speak for others Like, oh yeah, they're saying I mess up. You know, I mess up all the time and God's love is always there to pick me up. That grace and that's I loved how that shifted from the enemy is under my feet because he loves me so much.
Kim McIntire:That's quite the love. That's so true. That's so true, that's so true In verse 13, when it says you will tread upon the lion and the cobra, you will trample the great lion and the serpent. I love that he's saying you have Kim, you have authority. Yes, you are not a victim, no, no, you are a victor because of Jesus Christ.
Kim McIntire:And when you have Christ in you and the power of the Holy Spirit in you, you absolutely can trample the enemy and say you are under my feet, satan, you are the defeated foe, satan. Jesus, when he rose up out of the grave, he conquered you and death and sin. And the victory is in you, lord. And so I just declare that regularly I will tread upon the lion and the cobra, I will trample the great lion and the serpent. And it's why, because I love the Lord and he loves me Right, that's it. And he, he will give you that authority. When you love him Right and when you serve him and you seek him and you make him the Lord, not just your savior, but the Lord of your life, I mean it changes everything, absolutely everything.
Charity DeGonia:It even says that in verse nine, if you break it down, it says because you've made the Lord and he describes the Lord, my refuge and my most high your dwelling place. So it's telling us, when you abide right, when you're making that your place, then all of these things come. We have the enemy under our feet. It's so true. So it goes like you're saying hand in hand. And it even tells us, it gives us the map. I have abide all the way down from 9 until 13 in my Bible because there's a map.
Kim McIntire:That's what happens, it's true, and that dwelling, like in the NIV, it's dwells, but dwells remains, abides. It really just means living in. It's that connection, like the vine and the branch. There's so much closeness you can't really tell much, you can't distinguish the difference. Really, you know they belong to together, right, right. And that's the kind of closeness that we seek as we walk through this journey of abide together, where we're just learning, like we want to lean on the Lord, we want to learn more about him. We don't want to just read the word, but we want to live it out, and we want to speak it and not contain it, because anything that's alive isn't contained. It grows and it affects things around it, and so I just I can't get enough of God's word, for I really can't.
Kim McIntire:I love that you guys are all in with studying and praying and reading through God's word as well. I just want to encourage listeners. If you're in a battle right now, if you're struggling right now, the best thing you can do is go to the Lord and share with Him the burdens. And we tend to go to a friend first, or our husband first, or someone that we can trust, and that's not wrong, but the only one that can solve the problem and fight the battle is the Lord himself. Share the burdens and the defeat and the suffering with him, because those things are temporary Right and those things can actually drive you to God's strength. Yeah, and when you're weakness in your weakness, he becomes strong. So admit it, I'm weak, lord.
Charity DeGonia:I need your strength.
Kim McIntire:Then you can participate in God's victory over sin through Christ. So lots of teaching points here.
Charity DeGonia:Yeah, really lots of them. And honestly, this is where I learned how to walk out probably the hardest part of being a parent. And what you're saying is, when you go to him, then he gives you the strength. And sometimes it's hard to go to them because we're so such in a habit of going to somebody else and hearing what we want to hear, but then actually experiencing it. And then you can get on the other side of it and go oh man, there's my testimony. Look what God did in that hard and in that battle and in that moment.
Charity DeGonia:And then you, like I do, I go to Psalm 91 and I can say I remember the first time. And then there's a testimony every single time I've gone to this and how God has delivered me from it or he's taught me something more. And then you fall more in love with God's word. And when you're falling more in love with God's word, then you're falling more in love with Jesus, and then that dwelling place becomes a requirement and it just builds on it and it draws you closer to his heart, and then you know his heart and then he's the friend you want to go to. It's true.
Kim McIntire:Yeah, it's the snowball in the best of ways, oh, absolutely. The snowball effect, you know in the best way. Other thoughts.
Olivia Frazier:Well, I'll kind of piggyback off of that. There's something about going to him that just. It not only shifts your situation, it shifts you as well. It takes you from that defeated mindset into the victory mindset. Right, yeah, True that I'm not going to let this. I'm not going to speak death over this situation. I'm going to turn my eyes onto the Lord, not onto the situation. I'm going to speak victory into this situation. I'm going to speak life over this situation. And then you go to the other people that you're going to tell and the language that you use changes, because I know that God's going to work in this situation.
Charity DeGonia:Right, it's good it's that speaking victory. Yes, I love that. Right it's good, it's that speaking victory.
Kim McIntire:Yes, I love that. When you were talking about testimony a second ago Charity I was thinking how many testimonies have come from the first time I taught Psalm 91 as a spiritual warfare chapter, and one person specifically over their marriage. She's just like I just started declaring it over our marriage because I knew our marriage was under attack. And then a friend called several weeks ago maybe a month ago saying I am plagued with horrible anxiety. Right now it's almost crippling. It makes me feel like I need to go to the hospital. And she hadn't taken abide classes and we hadn't ever talked about Psalm 91 because she really hadn't shared any specific problems with me.
Kim McIntire:So I said I'm going to read Psalm 91 over you and then I'm going to declare it over you and every day from the next, however long it takes, I want you to start your day with that. And so I checked in on her a week or so ago, probably a week ago, and I was just like how did vacation go? How are you feeling? And she's like it's completely broken. But she did what I asked her to do. I was like read it, declare it, believe it. God's word is effective. It's effective. He gave us this and it's such a power source.
Olivia Frazier:Yes.
Laila Davis:Right, I feel like I'm one of those testimonies, especially with Psalm 91. Yeah, because I have personally contacted you, kim, over things going on in my life not knowing what to do, and Kim gives such amazing wisdom. She's like fast and pray. And then she gave me a list of Bible verses and encouraged me to anoint my home and read Psalms 91 out loud. And I didn't just read it in like every room and anoint my house, I mean, I read it in my basement and anointed my basement, I read it on my property.
Laila Davis:I read it around my neighborhood. Sorry, neighbors, or actually you're welcome, and I probably looked insane, but I noticed the power in my family and in my marriage and the change that occurs and I want that for my home and my neighborhood, I want it for my community, I want it for my kids' schools and I wish the listeners could see Kim and feel Kim when she speaks the words of Psalm 91. Because it hits me to my core so I can imagine demons shuddering the moment she opens her mouth and just speaks this.
Kim McIntire:Well, that's very kind, but I would say the same is true of every single person you, layla, olivia and Charity. There's something about the power of God's word coming out of our mouth. Demons do run. You're right, right. They hate the sound of God's word.
Laila Davis:Maybe it was you shaking the Bible in the air. Maybe it was.
Kim McIntire:Brick and mortar. Well, you know, I wasn't joking around when I said today, we're going to be soldiers, right, so let's get our Bible, let's hold it in front of us and we're going to believe. God's word is the weapon that the Lord says that it is. And did he show up? Oh, he showed up. He always shows up.
Charity DeGonia:He always shows up. But, as you're saying that, and you are too, we're talking about doing things differently. But the Bible tells us not to be conformed. That means we're going to look different when we do this Right. I don't care what I look like, because I know where my heart is, I know where my reward is, I know where my satisfaction is, I know where my strength comes from. And I know now. It took me a while, but now I know how to tap into the source of my God, my Father, who loves me so much. And I will not be conformed. I will not look the same.
Kim McIntire:That's so good. Any other words that we want to share from Psalm 91? It's a beautiful chapter, it's a powerful chapter. Open your Bible and go to war. Go to war for your family, it's worth it. Go to war for your marriage, for your ministry, for your health, for your mind, for your heart. Go to war. It's a battle worth fighting and, yes, the battle belongs to the Lord.
Kim McIntire:But he says take your stand against the enemy's schemes, right, right, put on the full armor of God and take your stand against the enemy's schemes. So the Lord knew we were going to be in a battle, or he would have never said put on the full armor of God, right, right. And this is to me one of the. The piece of the armor that is the sword is the word of God. So we are just. We encourage you, listeners. If you're discouraged, open the Bible, go to Psalm 91. Let your mind just take it in, meditate on it. Don't just read it. Meditate on it, ask the Lord to reveal himself to you in a way that he never has before, and he will.
Charity DeGonia:Absolutely he will.
Kim McIntire:He will. If that prayer comes from a pure heart, he will show up and he will reveal truth in ways you never could even imagine. He's done it for me and he's done it for you guys, and he's no respecter of persons, so we are so grateful that you have listened today. One thing I want to say before we close in prayer is there is power in the share. This is something we talk about a lot. Would one of you three like to talk about the power of share, or do you guys want me to do it?
Charity DeGonia:Go for it. Actually, I'm just going to go over something that happened last night at our prayer meeting. But there was a word of knowledge about a hip and somebody said you know, we pray, we go around and gather around and we pray over that specific word of knowledge and it's so powerful again, and pastor asked if there was anybody that had been healed. And so we had a lady raise her hand and she's like wait, and he gives her the mic, which was really funny and she says wait, I haven't been healed yet, but I know it's coming.
Charity DeGonia:So testimony comes and actually they prayed over me for the same thing, because my hips, the IT band, has been really tight and it's hard to sleep and walk and my hip is popping and I'm like, okay, lord, this is mine. You know I'm kind of claiming it when they're praying over me, but she shared this morning that she was healed, like she went to sleep, woke up and she has full mobility and I had gone to bed and I was claiming it because she claimed it too. Her share gave me a greater faith and expectation that my testimony, my healing, was coming also, and wouldn't you know that I haven't had any pain today, but I just felt like when she shared then that gave me a greater expectation of what God could do, and that I claimed it and I was able to have it too.
Kim McIntire:Thank you, lord. The power of the share is when God teaches you something, reveals something to you, impacts you through someone else's testimony. You have a choice to contain that or to share it. The choice is yours. When you choose to share it, this is what God will do. He will multiply that work beyond anything you could ask, hope or imagine, because he wants his word and he wants his wonders and the healings and the salvations and the redemptions and all the works that God does. I mean I could talk for an hour about all the ways God can multiply all the works that God does. I mean I could talk for an hour about all the ways God can multiply.
Kim McIntire:Yeah, you don't want to learn something or experience something and then keep it to yourself, right? Yeah, so I'm saying all of this because I know there are listeners that are hearing this today and you know someone who's in a spiritual war and one of the best things you could do is you could share this episode with them and you could say this spoke to my heart and I'm thinking about you, and you have no idea how that may impact someone for the rest of their life to know I have a go-to chapter when my family is being attacked by the enemy. I have a go-to chapter when my family is being attacked by the enemy. So I'm not asking you to share the episode to increase our listening numbers. I'm asking you to share it so that God's name is glorified and people can get to victory instead of living in a state of defeat.
Kim McIntire:Because it's possible, isn't it, ladies? You guys have experienced it, I've experienced it. That's my ask Please share. There are so many people that don't know how to come against the enemy and that needs to change. We're living in perilous times. The world is in chaos, but our God is unchanging and he's faithful. So share this teaching, this episode, really on Psalm 91. Charity, would you be willing to close us in prayer and just bless our listeners? Absolutely, thank you, god.
Charity DeGonia:We just come to you so thankful for the time that you've given us to just dive in even deeper to what you've taught us about this chapter and how it's changed us.
Charity DeGonia:The Lord, and the things that you've pulled out for this chapter and how it's changed us, the Lord, and the things that you've pulled out for us, god.
Charity DeGonia:But I specifically pray for our listeners tonight, god, that you have met them in a place that speaks directly to where they are, god, that they've had open ears, got an open mind, and that you're going to be able to move them forward in this battle that they're facing and that they're going to be able to use the tools that we've talked about tonight, god, and maybe share that already they know the person that you're calling them to share it with God, and the excitement of the testimonies that are going to come out of this is going to bubble over and be an encouragement to somebody else, god, that you're going to multiply the victories that we've already seen in Psalm 91, lord, and we are just so grateful for how you have promised us so many times throughout this chapter and throughout your word that we are going to be victorious because of your victory, lord and we rest in that Lord, and today we just ask for the strength in what the listeners are walking through, god, because we know life isn't easy, but we know and are so grateful that you love us so much to meet us and to hold us.
Charity DeGonia:It says you'll cover us, lord, your arms are wrapped around each and every single one of us, god. We're so grateful for that, god, and we give you all the praise and all the glory for all the victories, all the things that you've taught us and all the ways that you have loved us already. The grace and mercy, lord, in your name we pray, amen.
Kim McIntire:Amen, Amen. Thank you, Charity. Olivia Layla, Thank you so much for being here with me opening God's word, diving in, and I know God's going to bless you for your yes.
